Celebrating Kalvi Valarchi Dhinam — honouring excellence, inspiring futures.

On the occasion of Kalvi Valarchi Dhinam, commemorating the birth anniversary of Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar, SMART Foundation had the privilege of celebrating the day with the students of Government High School, Dhamal Village, Kancheepuram District, on 15 July 2026.

As part of the programme, students who achieved outstanding results in the Class X and Class XII Public Examinations were honoured with cash prizes in recognition of their hard work and academic excellence. This initiative was undertaken to celebrate Kalvi Valarchi Dhinam while inspiring other students of the Government High School to pursue academic excellence and realise their full potential.

The programme also featured an awareness session on child rights, empowering students with knowledge about their rights, responsibilities, and the importance of ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every child. Refreshments were distributed to all the students, adding to the spirit of celebration and togetherness.

As we remember the enduring legacy of Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar, whose vision transformed education in Tamil Nadu, SMART Foundation remains committed to promoting education, recognising merit, and empowering children through awareness and meaningful community initiatives.
