With Mobis India Foundation, a three-phase Kancheepuram screening campaign placed 100 NeoMotion Wheelchair Bikes with beneficiaries across Tamil Nadu.

At SMART Foundation, we believe that access to the right mobility solutions can transform lives by empowering individuals with disabilities to participate more actively in education, employment, and their communities.
As part of our commitment to promoting accessibility and inclusion, SMART Foundation, in collaboration with Mobis India Foundation, organised a Screening and Assessment Camp in Kancheepuram, implemented across three phases to extend mobility support to individuals from various districts of Tamil Nadu.
Phase 1 supported 28 beneficiaries through comprehensive screening and assessment. Phase 2 expanded the initiative, bringing together over 120 individuals for assessment, followed by an awareness programme marking World Accessibility Day. Based on the evaluations, 100 individuals with mobility challenges received Neo Motion Wheelchair Bikes, each valued at approximately ₹1 lakh, through the generous support of our CSR partner. Phase 3 further extended the initiative, supporting 48 additional beneficiaries through screening and assessment followed by an awareness programme marking World Accessibility Day.
We were honoured to have Mr. A. Mahendran, Former General Counsellor, NIEPMD, as the Guest Resource Person. His valuable insights reinforced the importance of accessible mobility, inclusive rehabilitation, and empowering persons with disabilities to lead independent lives.
